Sarah Landman comes to Mikva the Musical with a passion for the subject matter from multiple angles. Sarah has been a "balanit," a mikveh attendant, for 11 years; has worked with the Eden Center to train balaniot all over Israel in sensitivity and crisis intervention; and is a certified Yoetzet Halacha, fielding questions in Jewish family purity law from women all over the globe on a daily basis.

Sarah has a deep appreciation for musical performance and music theory, has been playing piano and flute since she was very young. As a child and teenager, Sarah sang with and arranged music for several choirs and starred in such musicals as "Annie," "Little Shop of Horrors," and "Once Upon a Mattress."

In Israel, she has appeared in Raise Your Spirits biblical musicals. Sarah and her husband Dani live in Elazar in Gush Etzion and have three sweet boys.

 

Lastly, Sarah is a nonprofit fundraising and communications strategist, owner of Landman Strategies, with a passion for working with educational initiatives and women's empowerment projects in Israel and abroad.
